It was a bit of a shock at first, but the New Normal settled in fairly quickly afterwards.
The military invasion of Ukraine is not only terrible, but it is directly affecting some in the OOPs community, such as
Karintina , who is in the area under attack and cannot evacuate. Please consider helping in any little way you can, such as donating to https://unitedhelpukraine.org/ , or one of these various types of organizations, which offer aid in some specific way: https://time.com/6151353/how-to-hel.....kraine-people/
Also, remember: don't hate on the Russian people. Most of them are as appalled at what's going on as everyone else, and are risking their lives to protest the war; it's Putin that deserves all the hate, not the common people.

And in five years has there a greater understanding been achieved? Between a few individuals, maybe. Some came to... understand each other pretty deeply.
I wonder if the ruling families of Valsalia give a damn about the Yinglets. Guessing probably not, seeing that they don't have much to do with human commerce but I guess we'll see. (I mean, I remember some families are paying for Stew to provide extra lessons, but I doubt that was merely for Yinglet sex ed.)

Ya know what? This sort of thing would have Barakka foaming at the mouth and likewise many human thugs and thieves as well. Merely kicking a ying or human would result in dungeon time, and this sort of thing would royally piss off Brakka if he were not already dedded! xDD
Val, what might mister "I got chewed on by skavs" think of this turn of events? :D

Just looking at his symptoms after being yeeted, I think it's unlikely he'll survive those injuries barring a miracle or medical intervention that is far more advanced than the displayed tech level of the society.
We know that at the bare minimum he's badly concussed, likely has a fractured skull, and that trickle of blood out his nose in his last appearance isn't a good sign either. While it could just be from an impact to the nose, it could also be a sign of a cerebral hemorrhage. Which is unfortunately in line with his other symptoms.
tl;dr: I don't think Brakka's much longer for this world.

I say they get more protection with this. They can not be chased off simply for being Yinglets and even if you break the rules you have some rights.
Now for the outcasts living in the city it probably get harder as they are not protected.
I assumes that many of the city Yinglets are not expelled but rater prefer living in the city than the enclave, like the oracle or the two human chasers rescuing Baka.
Some chance they will be forced to support the enclave or becoming outlaws.

Why would a non-Patriarch wear a high collar? Isn't that the equivalent of impersonating an officer?
And here is a take on Vladimir Putin:

Love the info and wording thereof.
I’m not that familiar with Medieval style time periods, so I wonder how this information was distributed. I imagine children are taught about it in schools and can be read up on in books, but at some point this would have been announced to the entire public. Though, I believe guards probably did the most of spreading the news by word of mouth, gathering small meetings here and there.

We also know that Trademaster Salia has at the bare minimum been encouraging literacy among his guardsmen. There's no indication whether or not he's doing the same with the general populace, but I wouldn't put it past him - by the standards of the rest of their society, he's crazy enough to do that.
