I'm planning to do a CHICK Others playthrough and I'm having problems deciding how to proceed with it, which girls I should and shouldn't romance and the major choices I should pick. Can anyone share how they approached their own playthrough?

I focus on Riona, Lily, Nicole, Camilla and Cathy in my Chick Others playthrough. I also tried Nora but I had a feeling hers would become problematic with the others so I broke it off and decided to continue hers on a separate save. I decided against adding Jade because again, I worried it would create problems further along.
None of those should cause any problems unless they later ask to be exclusive, in which case you can break it off if you like. All of them appreciate a Chick MC. Lily is the exception because she has a short Dick exclusive make-out scene and one that is easier to get if you're a Dick, but she also has a scene that is easier to get if you're not a Dick. Camilla has one that need you to be a Dick too.
Of course, if you don't choose to order from Quinn's restaurant, you will miss some scenes with Riona, Lily and Camilla in season 1-2 (but there are ways around some of them). However, it doesn't seem to affect season 3.
Would you? If you were creating a AVN that was super popular and was making you a lot of money, would you risk a lower quality product just to get it out faster?

I have a path/branch/playthrough, series of saves, whatever you want to call it, for almost every LI and Side with no other influence. It takes awhile to make these (hey..year or more between updates...not a big deal) but once you do it, it makes things much easier when a new update arrives. Highly recommended. Also, make a backup of all those saves.
Yes...interesting conversations....Sage and Girl Talk (Jill path).... How does Sage convince Jill in EP11 that they both can work MCs dick? Hey...both rich family girls...I'm in.

That is one advantage of the updates taking so long. You can make a save for every path imaginable if you want and have it ready by next Ep. I have a save where I avoided all content so the MC has only been with Zoey, the one sentence that references that fact in two episodes will be so worth it .
I joke but I actually do appreciate it when games take note of stuff like that, it encourages you to try shit you'd normally not bother doing.
<<< DPC's Patreon picturized circa 2024. That's why that warcrime of a character got no pushback. I'm barely been OTT, I don't think he's received real criticism for any decision on Patreon. Banning works folks, they'll even ignore the oily horror gyrating before their own eyes.
I agree he genuinely thinks it adds to the VN. He comes across as my way or no way. And people like that often tend to either make choices where they hit it out of the park or make a decision that makes you want to rip your hair out, often in the same fucking week . Nightmare to work with or for; even more so than perfectionists.
On the whole it's worked for DPC because BAD is a good AVN with some great characters that has likely financially secured him and his family for decades if not life. But there's definitely been some decisions that are head scratchers along the way; such as 60fps animations.
I know this has been at least mentioned in the past, but it's starting to drive me crazy. Is there a reason that morning light through the windows look a lot like smoke/mist in the early episodes? View attachment 4321343View attachment 4321346View attachment 4321350
Is that a DAZ thing or what, because I seriously doubt it's actual smoke/mist. Dust particles refracting in the light?
It's not mist, it's not dust. It's an effect looked for by DPC. It happens only in Maya's bedroom for a reason: Maya suffers from a severe and annoying flatulence, especially at night. This creates a kind of thick nauseating haze that saturates the room.
See shocked MC's reaction on last picture, he's calling for help.

I would provide a product with the same quality but without music composed by me, annoying 60 fps animations, and useless minigames... Without that I would probably release episode 11 in 12 months (I'm not an expert but this is something I've read here)

That's not it. Like many Indie Devs, he's very protective of his game. And after what happened to College Kings, can you really blame him for not wanting to repeat someone else's mistake? Is it really that important to get the update earlier that you would accept lower quality and lots of bugs?
Sorry, but how outsourcing the animations to a skilled/professional CGI artist could possibly result in having worse animations? I mean, current animations in BaD are mediocre, not even among the average in VN market, and they suck if you compare them to what most CGI artists have been doing in the last 6 years (at least). Those people use Blender/Maya or other pro software. DPC has got better hardware than anyone else, probably, but the final result is not really that great.
Outsourcing the writing, the coding or managing other aspects could damage the quality, that I agree, but the aspect that makes development so slow - animations - could be made by others. Resulting in shorter development time and much higher quality (maybe too much, everyone will notice the difference with the rest of the CGI).
Obviosly this will never happen and we know it, he'll never hire people, so it's useless to insist in this argument. But stating that it will be a detrimental move for us it's using the wrong argument.
